Therapeutic Landscape, New York City
My artwork is influenced by my background in the natural sciences and landscape architecture. As such, paintings and installations are a means of investigating and revealing the world, both to myself and to others. The bulk of my work is acrylic paint on wood panel, canvas or paper. Themes include: the notion of otherness, often dwelling on non-human animal perspectives; space and sensing; and ecological art. Ranging from realism to abstraction my hope is to inspire people to take a closer look at the world we live in and to appreciate nature with the goal of sustaining it.
All the best,
