THE WINDOW (Church & Wellesley)

Until September 23, 2018

This juried biennial art exhibition @Glenhyrst takes place in the birthplace of Group of Seven painter Lawren Harris. Known both for its permanent collection and special exhibitions the gallery is located in a 16 acre landscaped park. My diptych painting "Coral Reef", which is an example of ecological art, was inspired in part by the American painter Syd Solomon, will be part of this group show and I invite you to come down to see this awesome show. Always a diverse, provocative and thought-filled exhibition.

The Window Gallery at 558 Church Street (NW corner of Church & Wellesley) exhibits "Hydrology", the work of Toronto artist Dan Nuttall from August 28 to October 2, 2018. Nuttall's paintings uses nature as a metaphor to express the complexity of connection and change as well as resilience and optimism - vital issues in Toronto's queer community. You can see more of his stream paintings HERE and more of his cloud paintings HERE.
