Dan Nuttall, B.Sc., M.Sc., M.L.A., Ph.D., has a background in the natural sciences, landscape architecture, art and design. Academic work has focused on landscape ecological processes, the design of optimal environments for displaced species, and the sustainable integration of human and non-human animal communities. Ecological design and consulting has included the design and implementation of snake dens, native wildflower meadows, eco-passage design guidelines, naturalization projects and public parks. Dan’s focus on the ecological is reflected in his art which has been exhibited in Canada and the United States, in public and private galleries, and in museum and private collections. These holdings include paintings, photography and ceramic sculptures.
